The CD consists of 24 performances - Bulgarian instrumental folk music for dances. Dances of all ethnographical parts of Bulgaria are included. What is a priority to these recordings is the authentic sound. The arrangement is made by Yordan Draganov. The dances which are included in the CD are part of the educational programme of Balkanfolk 2002 - an annual practical seminar for Balkan folklore (seminar for folk dances, music and singing).
The Zornitsa orchestra plays - gaida, kaval, gadoulka, tamboura and tapan, contrabass. |
