The XVIII International Festival "Gergyovsko Veselie" 2024 is coming up
25 April 2024 - Sofia, Kremikovtsi district and Kremikovsky Monastery "St. George the Victorious"

The opening of the XVIII International Festival “Gergyovsko Veselie” is approaching. It will take place from May 6, 2024, until May 8, 2024, at the Kremikovski Monastery and Kremikovtsi Quarter in Sofia. This festival is a delightful event that combines folk dances, music, and cultural experiences.

The previous edition of the festival, the XVII International Folklore Festival “Gergyovsko Veselie”, was held from May 4, 2023, to May 7, 2023, in the Kremikovtsi Quarter, Sofia. It was organized by the Community Center “Svetlina 1906”, in collaboration with the “Gergyovsko Veselie” Association. This year’s edition promises to be even more exciting and colorful. Alongside Bulgarian folk dance groups, two dance ensembles from Mexico and Italy will also participate.

If you are a lover of folklore, music, and dance, do not miss this festival! Let’s enjoy the beauty of Bulgarian culture and traditions!
