Dunavsko horo (Danube Dance) is one of the most popular Bulgarian folk dances. It has become a tradition for thousands of Bulgarians to start the new year with a performance of the Dunavsko horo.

The CD consists of 23 performances - Bulgarian instrumental folk music for dances. Dances of all ethnographical parts of Bulgaria are included. What is a priority to these recordings is the authentic sound. The arrangement is made by Yordan Draganov. The dances which are included in the CD are part of the educational programme of Balkanfolk 2003- an annual practical seminar for Balkan folklore. The Zornitsa orchestra plays - gaida, kaval, gadoulka, tamboura and tapan, contrabass.
