Pictures of Folklore Ensemble Toundja from the city of Yambol, Bulgaria, director and choreographer of the group is Peter Dimitrov. In 1954 a group of singers and musicians led by the music teacher and violin player Atanas Palenkov, found the Thracian ensemble for folklore songs and dances. Since its foundation the ensemble becomes a source of research, preservation and arrangement of local music and dance folklore. In 1972 the group becomes a professional ensemble.

Extremely happy mothers, grandmothers and grandfathers applauded the very first stage performance of the little dancers at Zornitsa Children’s Dance Ensemble. The occasion was the first anniversary of the group and it occurred thanks to the ambitious kids and of course due to the hard work of the young choreographer Ivaylo Parvanov, together with his assistant Dessislava Ivanova and the musician Ivaylo Kirov.

Neshka Robeva was born in the city of Ruse (Rousse) in 1946 and in 1966 graduated in Bulgarian dances at the State Choreography School. From 1966 to 1973 when was a national competitor in rhythmic gymnastics and graduated at the National Sports Academy in 1974. Ms Robeva has held several important positions including senior trainer of the National Rhythmic Gymnastics team. Her latest work, "Refugees", features the destiny of emigrants using a combination of Argentinean tango, Balkan, Armenian and Jewish rhythms.
